Commodity exchange markets are quite volatile as they are influenced by many factors and serve many purposes. Commodity prices may serve as the indicator of the macroeconomic stability in the world, the attractiveness of the certain economic sectors and the state of the global appetites for risk. With the higher commodity prices intrinsic to the higher risk/yield states of the world’s financial markets.
